Inspired by 70’s artists like Joni Mitchell and Fleetwood Mac as well as modern day singer-songwriters, Halley’s sound has been said to reference a 70's pop sound and a 90's folk sound, all with modern folk writing. Shortly after graduating from college, Halley moved to Nashville, TN where in her first few months, she was a chosen finalist for “Nashville Rising Song,” a premiere songwriting competition.
